FEATURES

  100% solids, no VOC

  Good weatherability

  Fast cure

  Excellent bonding to various substrates

  Various application capabilities

PROCESSING

PROCESSING

NiGHTSHiNE NiGHTLiNE is composed of two components. The mixing ratio by volume is generally 1:1 (A:B) although some minor changes may be necessary.

* Do not add solvents to the product.

SURFACE PREPARATION

SURFACE PREPARATION

All surfaces must be sound, clean and dry. Remove dust, grease, waxes, oils, curing compounds, coatings and any other contaminants.

With all applications a primer is applied to the surface area before application of NiGHTSHiNE NiGHTLiNE

Once the primer is applied our process allows for approximately 1- 2 hours before the application of the NiGHTSHiNE NiGHTLiNE, depending on climate.

Wait times on the primer will be longer in cold weather or with high humidity.

*TESTING THE SURFACE BEFORE FULL APPLICATION IS ALWAYS PARAMOUNT!

COVERAGE

Application losses may vary according to surface substrate and the method of application and is always taken into account when estimating the quantity of product needed.

PRECAUTION

Observe all labels, MSDS, and instructions before using this product and equipment. Protect your health! Provide adequate ventilation in working area.

When working with NiGHTSHiNE NiGHTLiNE, it is strongly suggested to wear safety clothing, gloves, and safety goggles.

APPLICATION

All site work and applications are done using our fully trained and pre-qualified installers.

Depending upon the site requirements, layout and in particular access there are a number of processes and equipment that we use.

For stairs and landings in Fire Escapes for example we can use either a masking tape or a Polypropylene stencil which we design and manufacture for the site using laser profiling to ensure dimensional standards [which are critical for safety egress systems] are maintained during installation throughout the site.

For more 'open areas & sites' such as walkways, hallways and path marking systems in hospitals, nursing homes, commercial and industrial complexes office buildings, warehouse, train and bus stations etc a number of application systems are available.

MASKING TAPE:

STEP ONE:

We place masking tape on the surface area where NiGHTSHiNE NiGHTLiNE is to be applied. Use firm pressure when applying tape to assure that you have good contact with the surface area, this will help to eliminate the primer or NiGHTSHiNE NiGHTLiNE from traveling under the tape.  (A laser line will aide to make straight lines)

STEP TWO

Our "Primer" is always applied to the surface area before the application of NiGHTSHiNE NiGHTLiNE. We apply primer to the surface area between tapes and allow primer to dry completely. Depending on the substrate it may be necessary to apply two light coats rather the one thick coat.

STEP THREE

Always prepare a sample area to ensure surface and conditions meet application requirements.

STEP FOUR

Commence application.

STEP FIVE

After the material has been applied, the stencil tape can be removed immediately. Do not wait more than 2 minutes to remove the stencil tape. Remove one side of the stencil tape at a time, pulling the stencil tape towards the centre of the strip. This will keep the material from spreading outward from the centre.

The NiGHTSHiNE NiGHTLiNE  is cured for use once it is dry to the touch and a fingernail impression is hard to make. For a area of general use it is advised to block the area off for 4 hours.

For an area of high traffic it is advised to block off the area for 8 hours. These times may vary depending on ambient temperature.

CLEAN UP

Any unused material may be stored for future use.
Dispose in accordance with current applicable local, state and federal regulations.
Tools and equipment are best cleaned immediately after use.
Use acetone to clean tools and equipment, uncured material may be wiped up with a clean cloth.
Do not use solvents.
